iPhone Unlocker Is Media Genius Too

17 year-old George Hotz is one smart kid. He’s figured out a way to unlock the iPhone so it could be used with other cell service providers besides AT&T (see his site for complete details). Equally as important, he’s totally milking the media buzz for all it’s worth. Not only was he trying to sell the unlocked phones on eBay and promising live coverage and delivery on a future CNN segment, he has also even parlayed a sweet ass trade in the form of a Nissan 350Z and three 8GB iPhones for one of his hacked ones. Who would be so stupid? Why another computer geek who needs the press too. Terry Daidone, founder of some company called Certicell made the trade and then even hired the kid two days later. Congrats George, you’re the geekiest pimp we ever heard of.
