Obama “Hope For Change” Sneakers

I just want to take a moment to discuss the design concept of this sneaker release. These Obama “Hope for Change” sneakers are getting a lot of attention, and everyone is reacting to it in a different way.

The main concept of this Obama sneaker design is contrast and balance. The main message is to express they joy that comes with George W. Bush no longer being our president, and second, to show our support to Senator Obama.

We used both the face of our future past, which is still to be present for the next few months, and the face that we hope to see in the future as the leader of this great country (once again contrast). We not only used a warm facial expression, but also a warm color on Senator Obamas face (this color happens to be pretty close to his actual skin complexion), this color is used to emphasize the notion of “warm” and “real”, and these two are traits that we get from the Senators speeches. On the other hand, we used a cold color, and a cold facial expression for Bush’s face. Since this color is not natural and far different from his skin complexion, we used it to express “cold” and “fake”. Put simple, these are some of the traits that come to my mind when I think of George W. Bush. Once again contrast between both, warm and cold, but also real and fake.

The back of the “Obama Sneaker” features one of the numerous logos for the international day of peace. Peace is one of the main reasons why we support Senator Obama. I think I can speak for us all by saying that we are tired of war and losing family and friends to this fight that is masked with terms like “weapons of mass destruction”. This leads me to the back of the other shoe, where there are bombs dropping. Once again contrast, between peace and war this time. Finally, at the very back of the shoes, the words “change” and “hope”. The use of distored fonts was to express a scream with hope, asking for change. The face of Bush as president is what this country needs to change, and the face of Senator Barack Obama is the hope.

How to Paint Sneakers 101

We’ve all heard of the war going on, the threat of weapons of mass destruction, and nuclear weapons. Well people, disaster has struck, it really did, and it IS a tragedy.

Africa was just hit by a nuclear bomb! It was a terrible sight, the bomb landed directly on a sneaker shop, causing all the sneakers to fly around all over the place. Some of the air force ones landed in the jungle where radiation caused them to mutate with some of the jungle animals. Fortunately, for the custom sneaker community, the doctors from the Pimpmykicks.com Laboratories, Dr. XCLSV and Dr. Ricky Rubicon, captured a few of these extremely rare ½ wild animal ½ sneaker specimen.

These custom kicks are now being analyzed in the lab, and once they pass all the required safety tests, they will be released to the public. As we mentioned before, these custom sneaker specimen are extremely rare and will be very limited. Our sources did not specify the release number of these kicks, so we strongly suggest you to be on the look out on your Myspace, Facebook, Yahoo, Google, parties, fashion events, magazines, radio stations, and maybe select TV stations.

From our understanding, all of these custom sneakers were scarred from the terrible bombing, and were all marked with a neon stain. Please be prepared for the release and do not, we insist, DO NOT get caught “unfitted”, even though you should be able to survive without a fit for them, we strongly recommend to be prepared. Once again, be on the look out for the custom painted “Nuclear Mutant Pack” from the Pimpmykicks.com Laboratories.
